I have been contacted by a company called American Risk Control. They apparently do risk assessments for insurance companies and are based out of Florida. The agent, who found my name via Nachi, wants me to simply measure and sketch the positioning of out-buildings, and the distances between them, on a horse ranch near here and take a number of photos. For this he says they will pay $250.
Does anyone have any experience with this company and if so, how did it work out? Thanks in advance for any info you may offer. Steve |

Most insurance based inspections do not pay much.
When you get a good one like that they will usually make payment in advance because they are in a hurry. Sometimes insurance companies pay for items like this, in an effort to calculate cost of replaceent. Doubtful they will pay in advqance, though.
