I apoligise.

I did not completely understand the rules of engagement.

Once it was explained to me that if someone that disagrees with something I have posted, it is ok to drag my family into the fray and make lewd commnts about them. This is new to me, as no one has ever said anything remotely close to what was posted within my earshot.

I doubt I will embrace this unstated policy as I find it repugnent.

If a person really really believed that people wanted pictures of children
for sexual reasons, and felt the need to call them a pedophile, then they
would also need to call the FBI and report it. If I felt it was true about
someone, I would call the FBI in a heart beat.

If a person just wants to win an argument and twist some comments
into something that no one can see but them alone... and starts using
the pedophile slander as a cheap shot, they have gone way beyond
a decent debate.

It is either one way or the other with this subject. Call the FBI or shut up.

If you want to give out apologies and then include insults with it, that
too reflects about a persons deceitful pride. You were wrong and everyone
tried to stop you from your improper cheap shots. If you still think you
are right... then call the FBI. There is no middle ground. You said several
members were guilty of wanting pictures of children and you owe them
an apology also.

BTW... I have done public debate for over 35 years, sometimes for 10
hours a day. I never get mad and enjoy hearing anyone tell me their
opinion. I am ready to forget it and move on. Just don't do it again.

If we justify Letterman actions against Palins child, and yet would not like
it to happen to our children, then there is a conflict in principles. That is
the context of the statement. That is why I said "Then tell us how it feels".
In that context, it is simple to see I was defending Palins child.

If a person honestly feels anything dirty was intended toward children,
then call the FBI or shut up. It's one way or the other. The other
members also deserve an apology for what you said to them.... or
again.... call the FBI and report the crime.

You were wrong, deal with it. You cannot report any crime, but your own
pride. Simple.

your intent to cause public damage. You were never interested
