Dear Inspector,
I know you are aware of the tremendous concern over the explosion of REO
(bank owned repossessions) properties in this country. New Image Software is
a Preferred Solution Provider for an innovative company called BidDay Online
Real Estate Auctions. BidDay has developed a state of the art process to sell
bank owned properties through their online auction website. This is where you
come in, since each property will need to be inspected by a qualified home
inspector. You will be paid $290 to inspect each property plus another $70 if
you offer termite inspection services. No billing will be required as
inspection fees will be automatically deposited into your checking account.

If you would like to see if you qualify for this once in a lifetime
opportunity, just click on the following link (or paste into your browser).
http://www.bidday.com/pressrelease/

Next, visit our website below to learn how you can obtain home inspection
software that meets BidDay requirements for just $99 per month. A 10 day free
trial and online training videos are available to help you get started.

We hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,

Rich Jordan

I opened the same e-mail this morning. Maybe Eddie Rezak and Martin Hewlitt can put together a software package and make this a real deal. I hope this isn't part of the master plan to inspect 500,000 foreclosures Hey Eddie, how about a walk inspection without a report for $289??? Save us both some $$$$.

Eddie,
I guess you are not responding because we are onto your scheme.
$17 per month? Start up alone will be $250 per mo. the 1st year + the "brand new tablet" at 100 per month, then $90 per month for software. Are you offering a plan that pays for all this at $17 per month? OOps! I forgot, $41 per month after 1/08!

Cookie....New Image Software Spammed me....best thing to do is report the email as SPAM...!!!

Forward the email to spam@uce.gov

The Definition of Spam The word "Spam" as applied to Email means Unsolicited Bulk Email ("UBE").

Unsolicited means that the Recipient has not granted verifiable permission for the message to be sent. Bulk means that the message is sent as part of a larger collection of messages, all having substantively identical content.
A message is Spam only if it is both Unsolicited and Bulk.

-Unsolicited Email is normal email
(examples: first contact enquiries, job enquiries, sales enquiries)

-Bulk Email is normal email
(examples: subscriber newsletters, customer communications, discussion lists)

Technical Definition of Spam

An electronic message is "spam" IF:

(1)the recipient's personal identity and context are irrelevant because the message is equally applicable to many other potential recipients;

AND

(2)the recipient has not verifiably granted deliberate, explicit, and still-revocable permission for it to be sent.
Spam is an issue about consent, not content. Whether the UBE message is an advert, a scam, porn, a begging letter or an offer of a free lunch, the content is irrelevant - if the message was sent unsolicited and in bulk then the message is spam.

Spam is not a sub-set of UBE, it is not "UBE that is also a scam or that doesn't contain an unsubscribe link", all email sent unsolicited and in bulk is Spam.

This distinction is important because legislators spend inordinate amounts of time attempting to regulate the content of spam messages, and in doing so come up against free speech issues, without realizing that the spam issue is solely about the delivery method.

Important facts relating to this definition:

(1) The sending of Unsolicited Bulk Email ("UBE") is banned by all Internet service providers worldwide.

(2) Spamhaus' anti-spam blocklist, the SBL, used by more than 650 Million Internet users to reject emails identified as spam, is based on the internationally-accepted definition of Spam as "Unsolicited Bulk Email". Therefore anyone sending UBE on the Internet, regardless of whether the content is commercial or not, illegal or not, needs to be fully aware that (A) they will lose their Internet access if they send UBE and (B) they will be placed on the Spamhaus Block List (SBL) if they send UBE.

Various jurisdictions have implemented legislation to control what they call "spam". One particular example is US S.877 (CANSPAM 2004). Each law addresses "spam" in different ways, and as a consequence, often has different definitions of what they cover, whether they call it "spam" or not. Spamhaus uses the industry standard "unsolicited bulk email" definition which underlines "it's not about content, it's about consent". As such, arguments as to whether UBE messages are covered under CANSPAM or are compliant with CANSPAM, are entirely irrelevant.

BidDay: This was our goal! With several million dollars invested, we have worked for over 3 years developing the most sophisticated real estate auction system available. We have purposely hidden our business model, technology, methods, and other very cutting edge functions from everyone during this time.

Gary

I know your just holding off until the price to register gets jacked to $495.........

Oh, I was wondering...if nobody has any inspections, is the money refunded (put in writting) to them?

Or is the money then applied toward donations on our tax forms?......

Manny it simply blows my mind anyone could possibly ask anyone to pay $200.00 BEFORE they have inspections.

But maybe someday they will.

Free registration, yes, pay up front, no.

I cannot quite figure it out either.

I receive a list of auctions that will be in the near future here from reputable real estate auction companies, who represent, Wells Fargo, Bank Of America, WA MU, and the list goes on.

The properties are open for viewing and inspecting by the potential client and his/her inspector way before the auction occurs.

Nice to know that Eddie hasnt answered a single question I have asked. He wont.

Interesting to see the hook with PV, though it may have been Eddir &Co's way to get established with us. PV may have nothing to do with this, at all.

Problem is that Bidday is launching their product HERE. He paid his $289 for access to this board, and to all or us.

Best of all, he has tha ability to give out red boxes, as I have received yet another from some ball-less wonderkind.

Wow, no word from Nick, Eddie, Jim, Joe or Bob... Dead silence. It makes one wonder.

I think next year when it comes time to renew I will just proclaim myself as a vendor, that way I don't need to fool with all the requirements. Just pay my $289 and have at it.

In my opinion vendors should have a seperate membership, one that restricts them and where they can post (and no offense to the ones that are worthy). I'm starting to believe that paying the $289 and your "in" theory is really true. It's a shame that dollar signs will get anyone in.

I also guess the 10,000 member cap is useless...there are loop holes in everything.

No properties in the 250 mile radius of St.Louis either, I know there are thousands around here.

Looks like they're also scamming buyers.....$49.95 a month to your charge card. 'Live Avatar Auctions' .... that also can speak in Spanish or Chinese...lol
