My wife, who rarely goes into the kitchen to cook will now and then do something delightful. Yesterday was apple pie day and for no other reason than she felt like it.

It is okay to admit that you put on the apron and baked it yourself. 
I am going to be helping my wife bake five that we are donating to a church that puts on a free Thanksgiving meal.
My wife is at her mom’s house right now making apple pies, Wednesday night is pumpkin pie night.
Again, best holiday ever.
I might only add, this is why God made women who make pies for men… Who appreciate the effort.
