Good question, I'm not sure. Girls from our office just went down there to deliver blankets, bedding, water, etc., etc.

This sucks. Bottom line. The evacuations keep moving further and further south. I am taking my hard drive with me when I leave the office today as a precautionary measure. Our office is in a canyon surrounded by brush. Fortunately I am flying east tomorrow night and won't be subjected to this smoky haze of an atmosphere.

The wind-driven infernos have so far scorched at least 335,000 acres (1,355 square kilometers) of tinder-dry brush, making the blaze one of the worst wildfire crises in Californian history.

I e-mailed Russell. He replied and is ok. Here's what he said...

We're surrounded by fires right now, but we're safe. ... I can hobble around my property and see all the fires everywhere. There's a new fire that got started last night, the Mt Miguel Fire, that is much, much closer to me, so I've got my eyes glued to the television and we're ready to go if it comes down the valley and up our hillside.

I did learn from one of my business partners that we lost our camping house out in Potrero where the Harris fire started. ... we have insurance, and, as my wise old grandmother told me, "Don't let your possessions possess you," so it's just a house that got burned and can be replaced.

I'm watching Geraldo on FOX NEWS LIVE now and can't believe the devastation. I would like to donate a few $'s towards our members that won't have homes to inspect for a while. I'm glad to hear that RR and the people close to him are OK! It appears that the CA authorities have done an outstanding job taking care of their citizens and getting them out of harms way with very little notice! We all need to applaud their efforts!
