Digging the dirt is about all you do.
I've yet to see anything you've offered on this board, as a better alternative.

And its obvious you certainly can't engage in a decent conversation.

Try speaking civil for a change, and maybe, just maybe, somebody will take you seriously.

I'm sorry I don't understand you Joe.
Having read many of your posts,
I had believed that you go to great lengths to get people to understand your positions on everything,
and yet you state you don't believe we take you seriously?

You really think I care if you understand? To communicate at your level of cognizance would require the use of crayons.

Its really too bad you don't understand the art of conversation, without your reliance on gutteral emotion.
I'm done wasting my time with replying to you.
.
The more you strike back at us with your inane comments, the more you cement your low life reputation for idiocy on this board.

We've all given you many opportunities to offer differing opinions, and nowhere can I find anything of intelligence from you,
from your "Cut and Paste" crap postings.

.
.
.
(and I have no doubt you'll come back with some kind of dumb retort)

I'm still trying to figure out the point of this Bill and how it will help America be more competitive in the world. I just read an article where Mr. Carlin, a 35 year employee and scientist debunks the science behind the EPA report and he was silenced. He offered a fundamental critique on the EPA's approach to combating CO2 emissions. So much for transparency.

There was another article from a different source that supports this silencing.

Still waiting for some help on the Green Banking Center issue. I've written and called my reps in DC. I hope you will take 30 seconds and do the same to stop this nonsense!

As usual where's the beef?

The big lie concept as practiced by conservatives does sometimes border on the ridiculous.

First it's the claim that there will be federal government controls on what the sellers of existing homes must do. Of course with no documentation but a promise to provide one tomorrow. The usual right wing nut case doing their impression of chicken little.

Second is the idea that Congress or the President is so foolish as to try and impose code requirements on existing homes that will kill the real estate resale market. After spending Billions to keep it afloat. It is not going to happen no matter what the kooks say.

What is hopefully going to happen after the constitutional process has played itself out is the first energy bill that makes some attempt to reflect the true costs of fossil fuels so that we can finally get on a path of energy independence. That the current draft is so full of changes and modifications should reassure anyone that our legislative process is working as our founders intended it to.

Mr.. Belmont,

You vastly underestimate the stupidity of our leadership past and present.

They have been spending money we don't have for decades and always kicking the can down the road. The problem is that with each kick the can gets heavier and goes less distance.

Politicians of every stripe stupidly imagine that it will be some other politician that takes the blame for their wild spending.

But eventually Vinny shows up and wants his money or your kneecaps.

Whats to figure? As a conservative isn't sufficient just to know that Obama endorses something and that automatically means that you and your cohorts are against it, right? Carry on.

Gee, all one has to do is ask a simple question and all of a sudden the name calling starts. I'm just trying to figure out how this is supposed to work. Where are all the good arguments in defense of it this bill? Does anyone know what the direct dollar cost in that is part of the bill? There are up-front costs and continuing costs. I did not see any payback mentioned.

That's been the premise of our President since the first day in office. Signing an order to close Guantanamo Bay without a plan. If you read H.R. 2454 is is full of the same language. For example, within x months goals will be established, a plan will be developed, etc. There is no plan now except there will be an immediate 30% reduction in energy use relative to comparable building construction in compliance with the baseline code. Title II starting on page 320.

Page 335 is an adoption of California's Title 24-2009 for use across the country. Last time I read our US Constitution the states rights and the peoples rights take over when the governments rights are not declared by the constitution. See the 10th Amendment.

The House of Representatives did this. It was in the this bill that was passed by the House of Representatives the day MJ died. The link to H.R. 2454 appears earlier in this thread in case people haven't read it yet.

That means that if over half of the people that voted in their Representatives into office don't support this bill, then there should be nothing to worry about. Oh yeah, that's right... The Senators rarely listen to their constituents after the election and unfortunately vote along party lines. That's what makes it so tough to be an independent.
