Default cathedral ceiling

this may be a stupid question but, when there is blown fiberglass insulation on cathedral ceiling is it still over insulated ?

The insulation value (rating) is important, but more so is the provision of adequate ventilation if there's a roof above.

I would say no if there is enough room over the insulation for adequate ventilation. They blow them in here and they are never an issue. The roof pitch is 6-8/12 and the interior slope is 2 1/2/12. Lots of room.

was what i was thinking, did mention a little room between where the one side of the ceiling meets the roof. was packed in there tight.
