Rick, I typically ignore questions I don't understand. What do you mean "whats in it for you?"

What is in what for me? What is the "it" in your question?

I became a Certainteed Window Master Craftsman this evening on-line and I got a free golf shirt.

Seems the term "Master" may be used loosely of late.

You continue to promote CMI within NACHI and I am questioning your motivation. There is little support for CMI to the point that you with a number of schools created a separate organization. I along with a number of members question the value of such an organization/credential yet you continue to pursue. So the question remains "whats in it for you" or if thats not clear what is your motivation to create a certification that members do not want???

Rick, you actually asked two very different questions:

1. Why do it?
2. What do you personally gain from doing it?

Which question are you asking?

They are only one and the same if you assume that one only does something for personal gain. To answer your two questions with one answer enforces your incorrect assumption, something I'm not willing to do.

I have been on this board for two years and I do have say you are consistent. When confronted with a direct uncomfortable question, you respond with a question. You must have read the Art of War.....
