Just to be clear as I am not sure who your new system will work...But if I am restricted from answering electrical related questions because of my response being in holding to be approved by someone....just wont fly with me as my responses are well thought out.....so if this is the process...count me out.

Paul, you are unclear about it.

Member's posts go right up. Only non-member posts go into the que for approval first.

make sense?
That makes sense Robert!

Now what would that special section name be...

Jeff, non-members can post. Their post just goes into a que for quick approval by one of our many moderators.

Members' posts go right up.

He gets a chance and if he f's it up he's gone. Again, simple.

I should think certain non-members are known not to be controversial, just as some are known to be controversial.

The only ones held up at all should be new posters and known bashers.

Jeff, Paul, the system is already working. Your posts are flying right up as fast as you type, no? See, it has nothing to do with members.

Has nothing to do with moderating members posts, so your comment about yellow belly but kissers makes no sense. It has to do with providing an enjoyable message board for members, free from ASHI's personal attacks. If they like ASHI, they can go over to ASHI's mb. No fence here.
You might want to read my post again. I was talking about NACHI members fearing ASHI members. And those members who fear ASHI members and whine to you are nothing but yellow belly butt kissers. They need to grow some balls and they know who they are.

I will offer my services as a "Fast Track Moderator", by offering such service all posts in my que will "Fast Track" straight through as I am not much for "Moderation".

I understand that, Nick. But there is a censorship of them too, no? It is not immediate, as with the non-members, but, if it is "reported" (by who?) then....from Chris' post of moderating the moderator....there is a section titled "Moderating Members"...here it is:

Moderating Members

A number of people have suggested to me that in certain cases it's MEMBER posts that need to be moderated. Here's how I propose we handle that issue:
  • Any post that's reported will be listed in a public forum for all members to see.
  • ESOP Committee members will discuss the post publicly and make a decision about whether the post should be removed.
  • If the ESOP Committee decides a post should be removed, it will be.
  • In certain cases where the message in question is damaging, that message will be temporarily removed until the ESOP committee makes its decision.
That's moderation of members...your own guy titled it as such....and even goes on in a different thread about the possibility of losing your membership...
