Has Citizens officially approved this form as well as Nicks??
Or is Citizens simply saying that all the infomation must be addressed in order for NACHI to sign off on these?

Hi Nick,

Our form is the same one I sent you a week ago with some minor tweaks, it has all of the approved elements. Today I added a footer to the last page that shows NACHI members are approved to perform Four Point Inspections.

Here is the Text:

Quote:
Citizens Property Insurance Corp. Notes: Members of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI) have been approved to perform Four Point Inspections by the Underwriting Department on August 31, 2007. Contact Nancy Ferruggio, Underwriting Supervisor for more information. http://www.citizensfla.com/index.cfm
Here is a link to the Sample Report.

Hi Dan,

Yes we have automated the four point form. The completed form will look like the link below.

Please send an e-mail or PM to Joe with all of your information. Look at the sample and supply all of your info. Joe will make a customized one for you.

I know that Joe is a little busy right now.

Help me out here;
I understand that we can do the 4 point on houses that are 50 years or older. What I need to know is what about the ones that are 49 and younger?
Was this brought up before and I missed it?

Thanks

Bob

You could always do them on houses less than 50 years old.

Hi Rasheed,

We should have a live on line form ready to go in the next week or so. It will be available to all NACHI members for free. We decided to take this route so that each person wouldn't have to go out and buy special software. You will be able to fill out the form on line and it will e-mail you the report in a PDF file.

I want to know about the ele signoff, I just went round&round with citizens about signing off and needed to have an licensed ele to sign the ele part of my 4 point. I got it all straight with them, but that was a house 51 years old.So I need to know do we need a licensed ele for houses less than 50 years old.
I thought that the forms for citizens was good on anthing over 50 only.

Thanks

Bob

The answer is the same as before. No you do not need an electrician for any home no matter its age. You just have to use the approved form.
