Ever since they let Clark Gable get by with saying
DAMN in GONE WITH THE WIND,
It seems every new movie has either HELL or DAMN in it.

They even have some fellows they call astronauts
preparing for it down in Texas .

contract for $75,000 a year just to play ball?
It wouldn't surprise me if someday they'll be

They are even making electric typewriters now.

people to congress.

The biggest thing I remember is all my life I have heard they don't make things the way they used to. Now when I inspect a home and it has a 20 year old water heater or air conditioner all the realtors say "see they don't make things the way they used to".

All things in a home do not last as long as they once did. My mom had the same Maytag wash machine for 30 years. Now, most items are made of less copper, less porcelain, thinner metals, plastics, and just do not last as long. Back in the 50's, imports were made cheap. Now, it is the new American way.

An ounce of gold in 1900 bought a top of the line suit. Today, the same ounce of gold buys the same suit.
