A carpet was laid down and Palin, dressed in a beige trench, walked on to the ice joined by her daughters Willow and Piper. The GOP Vice-Presidential nominee said at an earlier fundraiser that she would stop some of the booing from the rowdy Philadelphia fans by putting her seven year old daughter, Piper in a Flyers jersey. She said, “How dare they boo Piper!”

Last time I checked, the economy was quite weak since the dot.com bubble bust (Clinton and GOP congress' fault), rattled and further weakened by September 11th and has deteriorated progressively due to rampant inflation, poor consumer confidence, skyrocketing energy and health insurance costs, ... ... ... Let me guess, all of that magically began in '06.

Low unemployment (even now it only around 6%)
Multiple consecutive growth quarters.
Moderate inflation
Steadily Increasing GDP

Multiple Consecutive Growth Quarters and Steady Increasing GDP- Where was all the trickle down from this? I fail to see how we are better off because Wall Street fat cats got richer off of job cuts, mergers, no-bid Iraq contract, price gouging energy and health care consumers, etc.
