Man Tasers and Handcuffs Self... Then Calls Police

CLERMONT -- Lake County deputies say a serial car burglar shocked himself with a Taser and then put himself in handcuffs.

Shane Williams-Allen, 19, may be linked to as many as nine car burglaries around Clermont and Minneola.

One of the burglaries involved an unmarked Ocoee police car. The Lake County Sheriff's Office says he stole several items from that car, including a Taser and a pair of handcuffs.

Williams-Allen apparently shocked himself when he found the Taser, and accidentally locked himself with the handcuffs.

He had to call police to set him free.
