DR Horton Policy?

I did a pre-drywall inspection on a DR Horton house, they are now telling my client that they will only fix code violations because this is their policy.

Anyone heard of this from any builder?

Note to viewers who are not inspectors:
A house can meet code and have thousands of dollars of defects and workmanship issues present.

I do quite a few phase inspections on DR Horton Homes here, I never had a problem with them.

As a matter of fact, they are pretty good to work with.

I generally find fewer things wrong with their work than others.
