Has anyone here ever used this service to make payment for anything and is it legit?

There is are one or two that are legit. Check Ebay and see which ones they verify. Those are the ONLY ones.

There are people who will try to purchase things you have offered on Ebay and want you to go through the service. Then it shows that they have paid and you send out the item. Unfortunately the escrow company is in on the scam and you have just lost your $4000 tablet never to be heard from again and never paid for.

Please be careful. Most people deal in Paypal nowadays because there is protection.
