FlashLights

Just getting started in the Business and wondering what the best flashlights the more experienced would suggest. Think I would like to have a rechargeable but high lumens.

Thanks, Woodie

The dewalt 12v is nice. I have had a few and this is my favorite. It has a strong magnet on the back, stands up on its own and also has a clip to hang on. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0043XX8AO/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1385498504&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70

Here are a few links using the “search” function above with the term “flashlights”:

I use the Rayovac led 2 mode extreme durability flashlight and the tikka plus headlamp for attic/crawl space back up or for when I need both hands for something. I also have spares that I cannot even name…

Two years ago I called to tell you that my InterNachi flashlight had died!
At the end of our conversation I heard you yell "Hey Lisa! Send Frank a flashlight!
After two years … I’m still waiting!

The Certified Master Inspector® 6,500-Lumen Weatherproof Flashlight

Email me your shipping address to fastreply@nachi.org and I’ll send you a new flashlight. In the past 2 years, flashlight technology has drastically improved with much higher lumens.

I just sent it!

I prefer a thin flashlight with the highest lumens I can get. Who can steer me to the best one. I am not sure it is in the "“Let”. Maybe it is. S

I love my Fenix lights. I have a PD32 UE that is nice and compact but very bright…easily lights up attics. It produces a neutral white LED light that does not distort color like other LED’s. I also have a TK22 but I normally use the PD32 because it is very compact. This is were I get them. Create a long in to see the sale prices. They also give discounts to veterans and first responders.

After reading this article, I have ordered the successor to the Fenix TK40 (for police work). May use it in home inspections if it’s as great as they say.

I recommend Fenix. I originally planned to buy SureFire, I think Fenix is “cheap non-branded products”. The result was surprising and I was completely wrong. The quality of this flashlight is so high that I cannot imagine it being so strong. The threads of the tail caps are all square threads, which means that they are carefully processed and anodized instead of simply tapping.
