I guess PE is as good as your gonna find. FLIR told me I had
to pay sales tax if I buy through their local sales Rep. I told
them I can buy on the internet and save those sales tax $$$.

The FLIR B-Cam SD is a somewhat upgraded version of the B-Cam, with some of the better features found in the B-Cam 2.

They both have the same dectector pixel array (120 x 120), same thermal range and temperature range.

The SD has larger pictiure storage (50 vs. 1000) with the SD card (I recommend getting a backup).

The SD also has better software (you can still download the images and use them with your existing software, like I do) and the dew point alarm that the B-Cam 2 has (a real nice feature).

I still find the B-Cam sufficient for most things.

The only real problem I have with any of the three is that the stinkin' lens cap doesn't want to stay on! You REALLY want to protect the lens.

When I was buying, I lusted after the B-Cam 2, but could only justify the B-Cam price (at the time, $2250.00 more).
