Default Fungi attract termites

I've read that certain types of fungi play an important role in a termites life. Termites are highly attracted to the odors produced by wood decaying fungi that, through the decaying process, make the wood easier to penetrate. In some instances, the fungus provides a source of nitrogen in the termite diet.

Structural damage - from termites - termites need moisture - plumbing leak undetected - moisture causes mold - mold attracts termites - termites cause structural damage.
