Default Godspeed Discovery

Hi To all,

Sorry for bringing something non-HI to the boards, but the shuttle program never fails to impress me with the scope of its achievements, its technical challenges and the dedication of its crews and ground personel.

I wish I had been on the East FL coast last night

Regards

Gerry

It was a perfect night for a launch. We went out to dinner and then downtown to watch the Christmas parade. We made it home in time to walk into the backyard and watch night turn into day time for about 2-3 minutes. I love watching the night launches. Did you see it from the west coast Gerry?

Nothing to be sorry about Gerry, this just shows you what team work can do with the technology available.

I am upset that I didn't know it was goung to happen last night Greg, when I looked on Friday they were saying that it was only 40% likely that they could launch due to the weather over there. Had I known I would have looked.

Sounds like you had a great evening and a grandstand view, I'm jealous

Regards

Gerry
