That is what I need to get Barry, my termite inspector has that ladder, I tried it the other day, besides the need to watch your fingers () I really liked it.

Seemed much more stable than the aforementioned piece of JUNK, I really never liked to begin with.

I agree that the MB can get pretty bad (note my rep is turned off, too many red squares for political opions). This is however the best thing about iNACHI, and that is saying a lot. IMHO. Every time I have had something I was unsure of key members of this board have been right there with the assistance needed.(you know who you are, there are about 7). These 7 have helped me so often I can't even add to their rep.the system won't let me any more. One even followed me one day from section to section assisting me. (mlarson). In my experience when the help is needed certain members always step up. Yes, it would be better if the wrangling and red sqare slining was held to a minimum, but this MB is still the best resource for an HI that I am aware of.

I have a great idea, but need help from other members.

Anyone remember when this message board used to be very helpful?...both to new inspectors and inspectors who have been in business for a long time.

If you're new to INACHI you certainly will not know how this message board used too be a couple years ago without going back in the archives too find helpful posts.

Personally I miss the way the INACHI message board used to be, of course there were some crazy posts, but nothing in comparison too what has been going on here in the last year or longer now.

Think we could change the way things are going here and make this a useful message board again?....post new marketing ideas, post experiences we have had at an inspection and try to make something positive from it so someone could learn something useful by reading it, and experienced inspectors responding with useful thoughts, everybody helping each other?

I remember when I used to really enjoy coming back from an inspection and post something I found, share it with the group here, and receive responses from inspectors regarding what their thoughts were, like a structural failure, or stucco and flashing not installed correctly, things like that, I usually learned something from the responses from the posts.

Anyway, I was really wondering if we could all get together as intelligent individuals and inspectors, start posting useful things on this message board again which will help each other in one way or another become better inspectors, or learn something from it.

So if anyone wants to help me, please do. I will try to post something everyday which will help somebody in one way or another, and hopefully I will receive responses from others so I will also learn something too.
Karl,

I was not even thinking about the red-green thingy....just how this message board used to be a great message board where anyone could learn something everyday, it still is if you wade through all the madness, bitterness, arguing about senseless things, etc.

But if everyone got back on track with regard to helping each other again instead of the other madness, it will be a great source of information again without wadding through page after page of nothing.

So like I said, I will try to add something useful once a day if I can, so maybe I can help someone learn, and someone can help me learn also.

I think Dale meant to say only Lawyers and Contractors can afford Harley's.

Dale, upon re-reading I understand, but apoligize if you thought I was dis-ageeing with you in any way. I believe what you are suggesting will make a great resourse even better. I for one, am onboard with you. I am just still amazed and thankful how fast an HI can get help out of a jam from certain members of this MB. I read something on this board every day and I am always learning something new.
