Happy Belated St. Barbara's Day

St. Barbara is the patron saint of Artillerymen [and women] the world over and her feast day - December 4 - was a rather big deal back in the day if you were in the artillery.

At Ft. Sill, OK, it was like the fourth of July. Literally. Enormous fire power demonstrations that would dwarf anything your community has to offer.
