I've seen his seminars twice in the past 12 years. Once he presented it as a 8 hour seminar for NAHI at one of their annual seminars (maybe in California). The 2nd time he came to KC and did a 2 day seminar for HVAC contractors.

He brought a tractor trailer filled with cut-away furnaces of all kinds.

Excellant program.

This would make a great 1 day seminar in Boulder in the spring, with 1 day being held on something else (like stucco OR A/C units OR???)

The book is excellent. Well worth the cost.
Ellis and his son, Russell, were fantastic.
They are self-trained experts in inspecting heat exchangers.
They're class is in great demand. Always packed.

Last night the Denver InterNACHI Chapter meeting room was packed.
We read through Ellis's manual and we passed around 3 heat exchangers that had cracks in them. It was great.

Ellis, Russell and I are meeting next week to discuss bringing his knowledge to InterNACHI and NACHI.TV so that everyone can improve their skills.

What I like is that Ellis and Russell teach visual-only inspection techniques.

If you're interested in inspecting HVAC systems using visual-only inspection techniques, consider http://www.nachi.tv/hvac/hvac-training-inspectors.htm
