Default Home watch inspections

I got a letter and "Official" membership application form from National Home Watch Assoc. in Bonita Springs, FL. In the letter they state that lenders are hiring Home Watch professionals to insure that their assets are being watched. "This gives you contact with them so when they sell their repos and order a home inspection, you are there". They offer to make you a CHWP, Certified Home Watch Professional. No certifying exam required if you join within next 3 months. Membership fee is $60/year. They have a URL but no website comes up.

Anybody heard of them?

I see a bunch of inspectors in the Bonita springs area are involved in home watch inspections, hopefully one will chime in.

Is this a bona fide house sitter or am I not understanding this right?

A business with no website or BBB info.

I'd go elsewhere...
