"Washington, Oct 8 - WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) today expressed outrage after learning that Senate Democratic leaders quietly made more than 70 substantive changes to the text of a health care bill after the legislation was voted on and passed by the Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions (HELP) Committee. The changes were made without a vote and without the knowledge of the committee’s minority members. Boehner condemned the practice of adding such “phantom amendments” to bills, and announced that Republicans will introduce a resolution that would change House rules to require committees to post the actual text of adopted bills and amendments online within 24 hours to prevent similar acts of deception."

These fools should be replaced. Its outrageous, dishonest, and completely lacks any kind of ethics to do things like this.

Someone who takes a perfectly good and working system founded on strong personal values, and wants to change it to a socialist, fascist, communist system that is been proven to fail every time it has been tried.

Someone who thinks it is okay to take money from one person against their will and give it to another.

Someone who thinks with their feelings as opposed to their brains.

Someone who thinks freedom can be gained by appeasement of enemies as opposed to defeating them.

Liberalism comes in many forms. the essence of liberalism is toleration of different beliefs and of different ideas as to what constitutes a good life.

Yes the toleration by the left of right wing, conservative and especially Christian views is rampant here on the MB.

Googleing is fine Wayne but attribution is important if you can't express your own thoughts in words.

Ok. That's fine, as long as that tolerance is a two way street. (News flash for ya, it isn't.) Today's liberal "tolerance" is a smoke screen. It's like the environmental movement. Liberal tolerance has no more to do with real tolerance than the environmental movement has with saving the environment. It's all about power and control.

Most stupid people...
Liberal (political):
  1. The state or quality of being liberal.
  2. A political theory founded on the natural goodness of humans and the autonomy of the individual and favoring civil and political liberties, government by law with the consent of the governed, and protection from arbitrary authority.
  3. often Liberalism The tenets or policies of a Liberal party.
  4. An economic theory in favor of laissez-faire, the free market, and the gold standard.
  5. Liberalism
  6. A 19th-century Protestant movement that favored free intellectual inquiry, stressed the ethical and humanitarian content of Christianity, and de-emphasized dogmatic theology.
  7. A 19th-century Roman Catholic movement that favored political democracy and ecclesiastical reform but was theologically orthodox.
Now, self described as Progressive:

Progressivism is a political and social term that refers to ideologies and movements favoring or advocating changes or reform, usually in a statist or egalitarian direction for economic policies (government management) and liberal direction for social policies (personal choice). Progressivism is often viewed in opposition to conservative ideologies.

Notice the connection to Statism:

Statism (or etatism) is a term that may refer to either one or both of the following:
  • A major state, including government policy, role in the direction of the economy, both directly through state-owned enterprises or other machinery of government and indirectly through the state-directed economic planning of the overall economy.[1][2]
  • A political viewpoint "that sovereignty is vested not in the people but in the national state, and that all individuals and associations exist only to enhance the power, the prestige, and the well-being of the state. The fascist concept of statism, which as seen as synonymous with the concept of nation, and corporatism repudiates individualism and exalts the nation as an organic body headed by the Supreme Leader and nurtured by unity, force, and discipline."[3
Hope this helps;
