Default Illinois Inspectors - Please Note

Guys;

The Illinois Home Inspector Association, a not-for-profit State lobbying association is hosting its 2nd convention, on June 21st, in Lisle, IL. I have had the honor of being a member of the Board of Directors for this group. The IHIA is NOT a national association and has members from all the national associations and does not engage in "association wars". Since 99.9% of all issues affecting Illinois inspectors are the same, regardless of which national associations you belong to, or don't belong to, it is very important for Illinois inspectors to have a voice in the state legislation.

Last year, the IHIA worked, together, with the Illinois Associaton of Realtors (who'd of thunk it ) to get legislation passed for manditory Radon disclousure. This year, we are working on manditory home inspection discloure (only about 45% of the home RE transactions in Illinois have inspections!).

It would very much behoove you to attend and support this fine group who has been working for the benefit of all Illinois inspectors.
