Are you disagreeing w/ me or agreeing....just want to be clear...

I thought my team vs league analogy was especially insightful and it took me many hours to come up with it......

Team = Your company
League = NACHI

Here is the deal...

NACHI is for marketing and that is all it is. I am not talking about the MB as it is priceless. I am talking about marketing your self and you're biz.

I ware $75 polos and nice clothes to boot, no were does it say NACHI. However, I pump the NACHI name into all agents and clients.

NACHI is just an Org. you belong to, make yourself stand out.

The Org. does not make the inspector.

I am agreeing with you Todd.....I guess I didn't make that clear....sorry.

Somebody had posted that we should wear Nachi all over our bodies just like baseball/football/hockey/basketball players do....my point was that yes the post their team name all over themselves..not necessarily their league name...

Ok..I need more beer.....I am trying to convince myself that I am making sense....not good.

Todd...I haven't disagreed with you yet since I have been a member and I don't intend to start now.....clear?

As a long time lawn sprinkler contractor....I didn't hustle the brand name stuff even if the shirts were free or cheap either. I believe in branding...my brand not branding the brands that already spend millions branding themselves...huh?

I believe in NACHI....I believe it has helped me tremendously....I believe NACHI will make a difference.....but NACHI isn't going to pay my mortgage....AtEase Home Inspections will.....so now I believe I will crack another cold one.

Thanks Todd.

Well, here we are at day 2. As I can see it we are nearly at a 52/48 split. Only 38 votes... 20 No Flag at all. 18 For a Flag of some kind.

I have also noticed that those who have made comments For Flags then to hold some kind of office in NACHI. (Chapter Pres., VP, or a Speaker for chapter meetings, etc.)

More Votes Please, More constructive comments Please.

If 3' X 5' (standard flag size) is to big the the next standard size down I think is 2' X 3'.

William, that's "uber alles," with an "e" and not a "u." Regardless, is any allusion to Nazi Germany funny? Quite frankly, I don't think so, and was non-plussed a few months ago when you referred to me publically as "Herr Doktor."

Tony and Todd - I agree. I like NACHI, mostly for RR and the marketing thread as well as the educational/practical threads - I don't feel the need to promote NACHI in ways I do not even promote my company.

Jason, i appreciate your enthusiasm. Good luck.

No, we do not. I meant it to be a chapter thing, not an individual thing. But I thought if anyone was doing a trade show or something they could barrow it from their local chapter and return it. They could also be posted in front of the locations of the chapter meetings to help new members find the meetings.

If someone wants one to fly on their own flag poll, go for it.

If you wanted to try to get a local bank, city, or township building to fly one, great. You never know... Take it to have stitched on it something like, "Donated by: XYZ Home Inspections" Who knows maybe you donated to improve your local Park (Flag Polls & Flags) and you ask NACHI if they will match what you donate... Then you add the flags...USA, State, City, NACHI with your Name on it.

Just a thought that just came to mind. We now have schools that are teaching NACHI HI classes. When you finish their course you are a NACHI member. Why not have them fly a NACHI Flag?

Them reference to NAZI Germany is uncalled for. If you check the term is Deutchland Uber Alles sic and is a part of the National Anthem of Germany. The anthem was around long before the Bavarian corporal ever came to power. Do not take this as a acknowledgement of Nazi Germany, I hate the bastards, the Nazis, more than you can imagine.I just don't think that cutting up the national anthem of a country is right. I can imagine what would be said if someone started to cut up the American National Anthem.

If we fly a NACHI flag, will that make us neo-NACHI's?
