Please don't forget the Atlanta chapter. Some of us drive well over 100 miles round trip to the monthly meetings. Our eyes are blurry from road fatigue and fighting metro traffic. A BRIGHT, CRISP image for a power point projector will help clear our eyes and make the presentation sharper.

Nick, The classes were great, but no hand outs to follow along with and no coffee? what with that, they charge $5 for a cup in the little store.

By the way the Atlanta chapter could really use the projector. We had several speakers that would have been much better if this had been provided. Consider the Atlanta group for one....thanks

After reading all of this I wanted to share my opinion.

I feel that it is up too the chapter to create revenue generating opportunities so that items such as these can be purchased by each chapter. If all chapters would put their heads together I feel that this could easily be accomplished. It will take years for projectors to filter down to all chapters.

I just finalized a deal with a termite company that was looking to use our network to recruit members to work with them. We worked out a plan where they would give a set fee back to the chapter for every inspection that a Florida NACHI member performs. This could provide each chapter in Florida an income of 2-3 thousand per year with no cost to the member. If you get 4 or 5 vendors that are willing to do the same then the income could fund a chapter for the year.

As you may already know, the Atlanta NACHI chapter holds monthly meetings with a speaker/presenter at every meeting. The projector and PA would be put to good use and appreciated by us all.
