And for almost 2 years, I wasn't on the B.O.D. at all. I just got back on last year.

Chris,
It's great to see that you are attempting to work on a change. It's been a long awaited task. IMO, I think the mock-up continues to look way too busy. You are attempting to separate items but it's not looking good at this point. What we need is a header area with designated categories so that visitors can go right to their area of choice. We had conversed (on another thread) about dividing the home page up into three sections, so that people visiting the site would have the ability to go directly to their section of choice, instead of being forced to read information that doesn't even interest them. Then... on these divided pages, you can further sub-divide into more categories of interest pertaining to that section. For instance...a HOME BUYER/SELLER area, a REALTOR area, and a HOME INSPECTOR area. After these areas are designed at the top of the page, then you have the option of inserting iNACHI material below this sectioned area, as you now have as a mock-up. |

Yes, it is too busy...still too hard to follow.

Very busy, and before we work on that, why dont we work on the message board like getting our full screen back and a "next" and "back" button...

A traditional Board of Directors doesn't do all that much. Basically they make sure the organization is operating ethically and legally, and they provide the legal mechanism for the org to do things. Normally a B.O.D. has a duty to only the stockholders of a for-profit company, but since InterNACHI has no owners or stockholders, our Board of Directors duty is to the association. Our Board has a rep from all 3 divisions of InterNACHI (Legal/accounting, administration, IT)

It looks a bit better than what is there now. Any improvement is better than none IMO.
