"IRS" Scam Warning

Just got this by email. I’m sure this has been posted already, but I’m not sure where…

After the last annual calculations of your fiscal activity we have determined that you are eligible to receive a tax refund of $99.23. Please submit the tax refund request and allow us 3-6 days in order to process it.

A refund can be delayed for a variety of reasons. For example submitting invalid records or applying after the deadline.

[/FONT]Clue #1 that this is a scam: The copyright info. The IRS is a public entity, so they would never use a copyright footer.

I got one last week.

Since the IRS doesn’t use email, you would think this would be obvious to all. However, I guess the scammer wouldn’t be sending them if someone didn’t bite!

I got it to and DELETED it right away.

I got the check problem is it was bad
