To answer your question... I purchased 100 licenses with my own money. InterNACHI couldn't afford it. I was playing poker with Russell in Vegas, did pretty well, and gave him the down payment in chips. He gave me a reciept for them. We each flew home and finalized the purchase 2 days ago. In this market environment I could have purchased 100 copies from any software vendor that I wanted to. Most of them were at the ITA show in Vegas. HIP is great software too. Anyway, with InterNACHI member's best interests in mind... I chose HomeGauge. I figure the good Lord sat Russell next to me at the poker table in Vegas and then let me win big for a reason.

Received my license today and downloaded the software. I've been watching the video lessons and it seems relatively simple to customize. And best of all it's free. I'm far from cheap when it comes to business but who could pass up an offer like this really?

I just don't see the conspiracy being whipped up here as factual. I'm not naive but I also know not to look a gift horse in the mouth AND I've not had ANY pressure to purchase other services.

Now if I received this software with the contingency that I WOULD purchase the gold service...well I simply would not have gone there.

O.K. Here's my 2 cents worth, if someone wants to promote HIP, by all means do so. But why does anyone criticize Nick, Russell or anyone else for offering a deal to those who are interested? Some of you sing Nachi's praises, when you get something that appeals to you, but tear down everything else. If it appeals to you, then take advantage of it, if it doesn't, why not mind your own business, and let Nick and Russell mind their's! BTW, before you criticize Nick, you may want to compare his success with yours, I seriously doubt if any of you can do better than he has, else you would not even be here reading this post.

I have used 3 types of software, Homegauge is the best. I have talk several others to convert to home gauge , great support, they always get right back to you , Also use the message board many of the people there will help with any questions. BTW i enjoy being a nachi member too . They have Lots To offer To home Inspectors . I believe in using all That is offered. So kept it up To all that are doing a great job . Just my 2 cents worth
