Planned speakers:
Carl Brown - Moisture barriers, proper installation techniques, windows openings and stucco problems.

Roundtable lunch about upcoming legislation and licensing attempts in both Kansas and Missouri. This is going to be one hot topic and everyone should attend another attempt for licensing will occur in both states next year and its very interesting as to who is actually pushing this issue. Dan Bowers will be leading the group.

Paul Sabados, President of both the Foundation for Safer Housing and KC Nachi Chapter will have a short presentation about the Foundation, its past accomplishments and its future direction and projects.

Gerry Beaumont - Will present his manufactured housing seminar. This will be an approximate 4 hr session. We have a lot of these units in the area and is a must see session. This was one of the best sessions at last years convention and in both sessions it was standing room only.

John Bowman - NACHI executive director will be on hand to discuss legislation in an open forum also.

8 am registration and continental breakfast

9 am Carl Brown will be speaking on moisture barriers

Noon Roundtable lunch “Upcoming Legislation”

1:30 pm Gerry Beaumont on manufactured housing

5:00 pm end of session, if necessary we can carry over any discussion topics from the roundtable.

This session is open to all inspectors in the area, the fee per person is $30.00 (cost of meals)
