Because Clinton lying under oath harmed Paula Jones' civil case. Paula Jones declined providing oral services, BTW.

I couldn't care less what Clinton did in the oval office with Lewinsky, but when the President, the most powerful mad in the world, lied under oath to beat down Paula Jones in a civil case, and then had his press secretary call her "trailer park trash" I freaked out. I'm pleased he got impeached and lost his law license.

Paula Jones is credited for keeping this country from becoming a Banana Republic. She is my hero.

I agree he was wrong in Lying under oath , But what did it produce except a huge bill that tax payers paid. Everyone made money except the ones that got hurt in the first place.

I having, like Paula Jones, had a public official lie under oath about me, and like Paula Jones, having caught them lying, makes me a bit partial to her I guess.

Anyway, I think it was worth every penny.

I'm not a religious person but I understand that one of Jesus' teachings is that the Presidents, Kings, and High Priests should not live under different rules than the Nick Gromicko's and Paul Jones' (the "least of us"). Your country's constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land, says basically the same thing too.

We start allowing Presidents to walk into court and lie to beat down little Paula Jones... we've become a Banana Republic.
