So...where can I live that’s safe?

Seems I can’t sit in my favorite recliner—too much formaldehyde, you know.

Let me see now, what can I do…?? Whoops! I can’t lean against this wall—
lead paint, doncha know.

All this worrying makes me thirsty—let me see, what’s in the fridge I can drink.
Ah, here’s some milk—

Nope! Better not…what if the “mad cow” had mastitis or something…

here’s some tomatoes—ah yes…tomatoes and peppers…

oh, no…and salmonella…

I know, I’ll have a glass of water—no, no…not with chloride, fluoride,
(and maybe even cyanide, hang-glide, inside, outside or any other “ide” that’ll do me in…
no wonder Ceasar was afraid of the “ides” of March)

Man! Nothing’s safe…there’s radon emanating from my kitchen counter—

asbestos lurking in my ceiling (and for all I know my underwear is made from it)…

mercury in my fish sandwich…



Voila!! I know!! I’ll find me a nice safe deserted island out in the ocean…

O.K…now where’s my atlas…ah, here we go…

lives there??? How about Borneo? No?,

Well…here we go! This one is just right. Uninhabited, away from shipping lines bringing all their dangerous germs and diseases…yesssssss!
