Uh, no. They are free to InterNACHI-only members. They aren't "free" anymore than www.nachi.org/benefits.htm are "free." Someone is paying for them. It just isn't InterNACHI members who have to pay them.

The "Call To Action":

Make sure your mail piece has a compelling reason for the homeowner to call you instead of taking a referral from their Realtor. Your 'call to action' should have the words 'Free' or '$ Off' in it. For example:

1) Call today for $50 off your MoveInCertified inspection.
2) Call today for my Free brochure titled "Top 5 deal-breakers found in a home inspection (Do not let this happen to you!)"
3) Call today for a Free telephone consultation and tips to get the most money for your home.

Whatever you offer should have true value for the homeowner. You may think that a refrigerator magnet with your phone number is valuable, but a homeowner will probably throw it away. It will not make them call you either.

Your offer should also be relevant to the context of selling a home. Free Starbucks cards do not seem to work very well. Help them sell their home and you will have a customer for life.

Does anybody else have ideas to add to this list?
