For many of us in the class, it was what we did not know that was holding us back from moving ourselves and our businesses into a very lucrative and active market.

There were some folks in the class who actually do more commercial inspections than home inspections, and I can now see why --- and how.

By the time Joe wrings out the ASTM 2018-01 standards and demonstrates them for what they are (and are not), a report becomes so much simpler.

With his suggestions as to how to create a team, write a proper scope for the inspection and how to create a comprehensive inspection agreement....the tools are almost in place.

I would encourage all chapters, during the slower winter months, to bring this training to its membership. You'll be glad you did. We sure are.

I did my first commercial inspection an Saturday. I used ASTM 2018 as a guidline and utilized the Home Guage ASTM Commercial Inspection template.

Does InterNACHI offer an online commerical inspection agreement template for use by the membership? Does ITA or some similar company offer the agreement in a custom preprinted NCR four part format? I currently use the California CREIA inspection agreement and purchase them with customized company information preprinted. ITA does not carry the California CREIA Commercial Inspection agreement.
