Good suggestion on the subject line, but I put the Inspector Name in it instead of the client name. As for headers, that's currently outside the scope of the agreement system. I'll put it on the wishlist for future upgrades.

Can you put the Company Name (Which is what I'm selling) instead of inspector name?

Can you make the "Agreement Title" a multi-line block that would let us put our information as above into it rather than trying for Headers.

Erby,

The system uses whatever name you choose for the agreement itself (in the "THIS AGREEMENT made this {$day} day of {$month}, {$year}, by and between name you choose (hereinafter "INSPECTOR")..." bit).

As for changing the agreement title--we can't change the title but we are looking into ways to let you customize the e-mail more.

Cheers,

I've run into an issue with clients initialing the contracts but not checking the box at the bottom saying they agree to it. The status then shows it as "Waiting for Confirmation".

Can something be done to prevent this?

Also, I only end up using the online system for about 80% of my clients because there is not enough flexibility to handle all the different types of inspections I do. A simple fix for this would be creating 3 different notes sections instead of just 1. That would allow us to quickly customize the agreement for each client.

What does everyone else think?

Why can't you "save" your boilerplate notes and simply cut and paste them into your primary "notes" section when you want to change them?

Hi! In answer to your questions:

1. "Waiting for Confirmation" refers not to that check box but an email sent to the client. The basic process goes like this: You create an agreement, and tell the client about it. The client signs the agreement online, and he's sent an email with a confirmation code - this is to make sure it's him. He goes back to the agreement, enters the confirmation code, and then the status will register as "Signed".

Now, what might be the issue here is that the client's email server or program might be rejecting the email as spam. I just added new instructions to the client site - ask your client if he received that email and, if not, tell him to add "announcement@nachimail.org" to his contact list. Then, if he logs back into the agreement site, he can resend those emails.

2. I've just added a new field, "Additional Terms", to the agreement details page. By default, the paragraph that uses it is hidden, so just click the green plus sign to make it visible, and you'll have another area to enter custom text.

Let me know if the client still isn't getting the email, or if you have any more questions.

Has adding a "Printable Copy" link/button to the online agreement page been considered? I know we can copy and paste the agreement into a word file and print it that way, but the format never comes out quite right. It would be nice once we get a signed confirmation, to sign into the agreement page, find that agreement and have a "Printable Version" or "Print Page" button that would allow it to be printed immediately.

My agreements always get emailed to me after it has been signed. Then I just print it out.

I'd prefer it not be 4 pages long when printed. OF COURSE I can print the agreement off of the link in the email. I'm speaking of adding a printable option at the page accessed when I sign into the online agreement page. All of my agreements are present there. I can view them as needed so I'd like to be able to click view and then click "print page" with ease at that location....probably an easy add-on.
