I'm going to Northern California this Thursday for a long weekend, but we were going to Redwood National Parf to see the redwoods. I guess I'll have to bring my own stash.

I live in Eureka. Try to check out Rockafeller Grove. It's right about in the center of the Avenue of the Giants. It's just a little bit (less than 5 miles) out of the way and is a very easy hike/walk. It is one of my favorite groves.
I'm not sure if it is running right now, but the jet boat tours on the Klamath river are also worthwhile.

Got it. We're staying in Fort Bragg on Thursday and Eureka on Friday. San Fransisco on Sat and Sun. with a trip down to Monterey Bay for a day. Thanks Ralph!
