In regards to the peace negociation between Egypt and Israel.........get real.................do I need to give you a history lesson on those two countries........let just say that Israel kicked Egypts tail all over the place........Carter being the naive fool that he is who wants to be looked at as type of Messiah (sound familiar OBAMA) who brings peace to the middle east (which has much to do with his religious believe of "bringing in the kingdom").......came along after the fact and brokered a deal that Israel really didn't need in the first place. And let me also say that last I checked, NONE of the coutries that border Israel are doinga darn thing to stop the rocket attacks or shipments coming through their respective countries......including Eygpt.......until that happens there will always be fighting in the middle east. Israel and the Jewish people are despised by Arab nations and the world in general. You have ignorant people making up countries that have never existed (Palestine) in order to say that Israel took over a soveriegn nation............which they did not.

On the re-birth of that nation May 14th 1948, Israel was attacked by Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Iraq............with such a devastating assault very few gave Israel any chance of survival.......yet not only did they survive they embarrassed those Arab nations of which they still have not forgotten. Since that time, they have been attacked in 1956 (Egypt, Syria and Jordan...that lasted only 100 hours), 1969 (Egypt, Syria & Jordan....it only took 6 days to kick thier combined arse), 1973 (Egypt & Syria...took only 20 days to beat them down) and of course the daily rocket attack of which those Arab nations do nothing to stop.................so don't pretend you know what is going on over there because you are truly ignorant to what history has shown..........Arabs hate Jews and will continue to do everything in their power to destroy them.....and you want to talk about racism and prejudice, how about studying history for once to get the complete picture.

I am truly sorry that I did not see this post until now! Both parties are at fault. The only way we as a country can stop another economic situation like this one it to DEMAND of our representative to set a budget and NOT spend more than that budget. I am sorry but the major reason for our situation is that people spent more than they could afford, on houses, on cars, on everything! Where did we learn this behavior, how about our governments, federal and state. Banks made poor choices about who to lend to (partially due to government interference), businesses also screwed up big. I personally dont believe that any of them should be bailed out. That is the whole idea behind capitalism, let those that fail, fail. Those that survive do so because they made wise choices. We wasted billions on war, yes, we did. We also waste billions on teaching people to rely on the government instead of getting off their asses and working for a living. I teach full time, and do home inspections on the side (yes, I know not a popular idea for some of you, but I take HI seriously and am constantly trying to make myself a better inspector), but I see the mind set of people in poverty everyday. I have student ask me why I just dont go out and get a Link card (food stamps), "hell my mom gets like $500-600 dollars a month!" (She is well over 300 lbs) I had a parent ask me to fill out paper work so he can try and get social security benefits because his son has ADD. YES, ADD - Attention Deficit Disorder. Are you F-ing Kidding me. Things like this just prove to me that hand outs do not work, they make people dependent on others and lazy. My suggestion? require all HUD homes to meet new green standards, which would require thermal imaging work, as well as construction work to update these homes, and would hopefully help send some of the $300 Billion we spend on foreign oil a year back into our own economy and stop funding crazy as religious people that kill in the name of GOD. Now that is the dumbest idea ever! Killing in the name of GOD.

Most laws are based on religious ideas. However, some people need to use a little more common sense and a little less faith. To each his own.

I'm more specifically referring to the Koran. It specifically says that apostates should be killed. Can Christian literalists honestly hold "terrorists" in contempt for following scripture? Quite hypocritical if you ask me.

It doesn't matter what Obama's name is or what promises he made during his campaign. Presidential candidates always make promises they can't keep because what they do requires the appoval of the legislature.

What they're telling you during their campaign is more about who they are and what they'd like to acomplish during their term in office.

So what you got when you got Obama elected was a general agreement with what he stands for. He won't acheive or destroy anything without the appoval of your congressman and senator, both of whom you can e-mail and write. If you fail to do either one, then you best not complain, honey, you better sit back and let those who have an interest in what's going on take control.
