I'm not clear on who is what, but it is obvious to everyone that whatever caused the migration of many Democrats to the Republican party in the 1980's has ended horribly and those folks have gone back to their party and have taken other Republicans with them.

Personally I blame it on the right-wing Christians who attempted to take the party where most of us never intended for it to go. Now what remains is a fractured group of factions continuously rearranging deck chairs on a sinking ship while arguing over how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. The only thing it appears they can agree on is that Obama is bad.

Did anyone in their right mind really think the Republican party was going to attract independent voters with a platform based on exclusion, reduced freedom, curtailing women's rights while continuing a fiscally irresponsible and morally corrupt war? Get a friggin' grip!

What gives you the idea I fear them? What I dislike about them is their attitude that they are better than the rest of us and that they know how everyone should live. The fact that the Bush administration had spent more time discussing marriage then it has the Iraq war is a clue to the conservative Christian agenda operating within the Republican party.

I am not looking for my government to engineer society by limiting freedom, curtailing women's rights or changing the Constitution to limit who can enter into contracts and it is very doubtful that independent voters are either.

Liberals want to take away guns and limit free speech with the fairness
doctrine. Nobama voted to raise taxes on everyone making over 42K
a year. He wants to take away our money and our freedom.

Nobama voted against saving the life of a baby who is born alive after a
botched abortion. Women's rights do not over rule the rights of the
silent screams of babys in the womb. Who will be their voice so they
can live? Who will protect their freedom.?

Nobama is for making laws that would force us to accept gay marriage and
having this taught to our school children. This is why so many states
are passing amendments to block gay marriage from being FORCED
on them. People will not give up their children to this idea in schools.

Of course you already know I believe none of what you posted, going forward in the next 21 days it is obvious that those of us who have already chosen our candidate will not be changing our minds.

No, the battle is with the independent & uncommitted voters who daily appear to be moving to the Obama camp in droves. What other than the threat of violence can you do to attract those voters and stem the tide?

OH boy now I'm scared...Presidents have little if any control over Constitutional issues the last 20 years of Republican rule Reagan, Bush Sr., Bush Jr. were all pro-life and wanted to end abortion and failed, let Obama attempt to take away guns, fat friggin' chance.
