At one point today the temp in my van said 105.
AND my AC decides to stop working. The clutch will not engage.
Still have a full week of 95+ temps ahead of me. Hope next week cools down abit.
Could have a leak and the loss of charge sensor won’t allow the clutch to engage. If your van is new enough to have R134a in it, buy a can with a built in gauge (so you can see if it is in fact low) and it may get you through until you can have it serviced.
$1000 bill to fix mine last summer in the Suburban. Ouch.
I had it recharged and and week later the compressor seized so I got charged for refrigerant twice.
Nasty.
