SUBSTANCE PLEASE!

Here is an easy one:
Why is it not okay to kill a caraboo but its okay to kill a child just out of its mothers womb?

Here's another easy one:
Why is it not okay to drill for oil here and its okay to pay the middle east for the oil?

To me these are fundamental questions and easy to answer questions but some can not do it with out spinning, getting mad, and so on!
I can hear it now: WHY IS ABORTION STILL PART OF THE DEBATE? let me ask this then: WHY IS CARABOO?

I am enjoying the questioning of Sarah Palin's qualifications and experience for VP while at the same time the MSM simply ignores Obama's qualifications and experience.

They can't go there because they have a problem and they know it.

They will be dragging out every possible piece of dirt and trying to make it stick.

I'm guessing she has little to worry about.
Does anyone think McCain's camp doesn't already know of the possible attacks points on her and has a plan in place to handle them?

Why aren't the Obamacans jumping ship? After all, didn't they turncoat in the first place because they were sick of the same old Bush politics? I guess not, since Sarah Palin is the "Change" in GOP leadership that they are supposedly looking to extract by voting for the DNC ticket, which lately has been quietly abandoning all that "Change" rhetoric by attempting the safe road to the White House.

James, if you look back some time in the posts, my plan was to sit this one out. But as time went on I got to know Dopey better it became a must to identify what I liked and disliked about the candidates. I disagree with McCain on some issues but can't see one that I agree with in Obama. It was this board that helped me decide to go to the polls but what really convinced me is my mom and dad that have voted Democrat party line all their lives and will be voting McCain this time around. Mom says Obama screwed Hillary and dad says Obama scares him to death because of the world we live in now. Makes sense to me! I repeat they are lifelong Dem's! My dad called yesterday and was glad he picked the Alaskan Gov. Haven't heard from mom yet as she is in Puerto Rico but I am sure she will be extremely happy with a woman.

I am a Republican who supports the 2008 Democratic ticket. That evens things out, then, doesn't it?
