I think, Brian, if you really look hard at this latest fustercluck and put the partison kool-aid aside you may agree McCain wanted to regulate Fannie & Freddie more harshly (I think he even co-sponsered a bill). If you look at who opposed him (there is a video floating around since the press won't play it) that you can watch, Google the facts, and even look at some of the former President (Clinton) says about where the fault should go. If I am wrong thats fine but once again all I see from the New Socialist party is blame it on the republicans and the press following lock step. Pretty Pathetic! Man its almost like pawns following Jim Jones and we know what happened in the end of drinking that kool-aid!
I believe the question you asked and I answered had to do with Obama's accomplishments. Now you morph off into something else. Focus man.

As for Socialism, the national debt is out of control, brought to us by the current administration and their unbelievable spending, and the unbridled/unparalleled growth of Government.

Those are indisputable facts, period.

Now the current President wants the Government that he put into debt and grew with Mccain's help to bail out private business in a SOCIALIST PLAN that you and I get to pay for.

It is not a clever argument to label people in the Democrat party Socialists, in lieu of the current path of the Republicans. But then again as a talking point it might fool many of the McCainiacs.

Not to change the subject, but just to show how broad the disappointment is regarding Republicans in general and President Bush in particular... Me I can only commiserate.

Bush's Approval Rating Drops to New Low

PRINCETON, N.J. (Sept. 30) - According to a Sept. 26-27 USA Today/Gallup poll, just 27% of Americans approve of the job George W. Bush is doing as president, the lowest rating of his presidency.

So George if what I say is ignorant...then lets hear your point of view. I am always open to learning something. I was in the military for 10 years and am a Gulf War veteran and lived in 13 different countries as a soldier and as a civilian that worked for a company called Raytheon. I have seen much of the world and lived in the Muslim part of the world for a total of 7 years. I also lived in Israel for about 6 months. I do listen to Fox news, MSNBC and BBC....BBC seems to be the best to me, at least the most indifferent.

With that being said, Mr. Luck what is your view on the world and just for Sh-ts and giggles what is your experience to give those views. Is is just reading and listening to FOX news or is it life experience. Please, I love to learn and see things from others point of view.

We won't mention the Democratic controlled congress rating.

I am focused Brian! That was all you could come up with? I was moving on because that (one) is simply laughable!

As for Socialism, the national debt is out of control, brought to us by the current administration and their unbelievable spending, and the unbridled/unparalleled growth of Government.

The current administration is not running! How many times does that need to be said on this board! That one bill was such a powerful statement!

Those are indisputable facts, period.

Bush is not running! Okay?

Now the current President wants the Government that he put into debt and grew with Mccain's help to bail out private business in a SOCIALIST PLAN that you and I get to pay for.

This may be true in part. But again, Bush is not running!

It is not a clever argument to label people in the Democrat party Socialists, in lieu of the current path of the Republicans. But then again as a talking point it might fool many of the McCainiacs.
The current path of the republicans defeated the dem majority in the socialist bail out! By the way! Once again, see my last post, look at it with an open mind, and tell me if you truley can hang this on the republicans!

Because your fearless Republican leaders, Bush, McCain, and Bohener were all staunch supporters of the plan.

If you are going to use the Leadership and Experience Sword to make your case, then when your Experienced Leaders screw up you had best just fall onto said sword.

And as for the Bush is not running mantra I hear in the background, if you voted for Bush twice it is obvious you can be easily fooled, so please keep your eye on the ball this time around.

What is it with Republicans and 8 balls anyway? Is this a new talking point, or part of the new foriegn policy?

GOP vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin said today that she was "delighted" with her performance in a much-publicized ABC News interview with Charlie Gibson and gave credit to her "trusty Magic 8-Ball" for helping her come up with answers to "some darn tricky questions."
"Charlie brought his A-game, that's for darn sure," Gov. Palin said after her interview. "That's why it's a good thing I had my Magic 8-Ball with me."

I love it when people say "that damn McCain knows his war and how to win in Iraq" Granted he did have some good ideas...But I will state this for the impaired.....WE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! Well they did find camels of mass destruction...

Tweddle Dee (Bush) and Tweedle Dum (Paulson) said just a couple of weeks ago that we are doing OK and will bounce back...Now this.....

All I know its just going to be McSame if that guy gets the nod.

Democrats can't rely on facts and are forced to just make it up
