Sure, why not. It's another VOIP (Voice Over IP) solution. Basically using your internet to make calls. They will more than likely charge some fee eventually that is 1/10 of your normal phone calls just like the other VOIP carriers, or make it ad based. It got a good review in PC Magazine.

Looks like they charge $20 a year for the phone use, but it seems they are overhwhelmed and can't handle the numbers for tech support. And the software does include popup ads!

We just bought one about two weeks ago. Seems to work just fine. Our son is traveling to Japan in a couple of weeks, and we got it for him to take with him, so he could call home without $2.00 per minute roaming charges for his cell phone. My wife tells me that Clark Howard (radio host), uses it exclusively for his home phone.

Well you should get in there and offer tech support for them also. You never sleep anyway.

According to a Realtor that told me about recently. YES.

I may switch to it when I can port my current phone number to it.

I'm in a contract with Comcast digital voice until November. Hopefully by then.

BTW-I love the Comcast digital voice service @ $33/month but that goes up after my 1 year contract to about $43.

Hahaha. I need about 50 hour days if I'm ever going to catch up with HALF the stuff I have to get done. Don't throw any more on me!

We bought one and use it for misc. stuff. Works well and i'll be honest, if it has popup adds I haven't seen them yet...and we use this thing quite a bit.

Funny, there's at least 3 half hour commercials on right now (12:30am my time) on different channels about the device. I wonder if they do 800 numbers , lol.
