Default The planet we call home, seen from 240 miles up

Cool video. I especially like the lightning storms and the Aurora Borealis.

Don't forget to make it full screen. Enjoy.

Very fascinating.

Always makes me think about how mystical gravity is as we still have little understanding of how it works or ties in with electromagnetism.

The city lights however show our mastery of electricity and magnetism.

I think I saw Obama in Hawaii on vacation again.

“The things that will destroy America are peace at any price,
prosperity at any cost, safety first instead of duty first,
the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life.”

Wow. Electric lighting all over the world. Only 100 years ago it would have been dark.

Awesome video. It gives a good perspective of how fragile the atmosphere really is.

I wonder how many lights there will be 100 years from now.
