Certified Master Inspector is a special (much harder to acquire) type of Trademark. It is a Federal Certification Mark, which demands that it be open to anyone who qualifies.

I'm curious... since this thread was originally intended for CMI's, why was it not posted in the CMI section where it belongs? Would this not have avoided a portion of this debate, and a few ruffled feathers?
