Default Rain Gear

What type of rain gear is being worn out in the field?

I have a cheaper yellow rain coat.
I have a few cheaper pair of rain paints.

I have a wind breaker that I wear but it gets soaked.

I was thinking about something that is of a gortex type material.

Also what about boots?

It seems to take an additional 5-10 minutes to shed all the gear in the rain & snow.

My camera has taking a beating in the rain. When I take pictures you get a burnt smell and a little smoke.

Thanks

Dave

Default Re: Rain Gear

In the winter time, I carry a cheap rain suit and rubber boots in the car. I've only had to use it once, but it was worth the trouble. You need to be ready for any situation.
