Default Realtor incentives

Hello

I am completing my first year as an inspector and wonder if it is common practice or even appropriate to give Realtors gift certificates or other incentive to recommend your company?

I would apprectiate any feedback

Thanks

Default Re: Realtor incentives

Dan,
As you stated it, it would be a violation of the COE to do so.

However, If you would like to send an agent or their office a gift card, box of cholcolates, can of popcorn, bottle of wine, etc as a Christmas gift, I feel that would be considered a commonly acceptable business practice.

But not for a referral. Just a Christmas gift to those whom you do regular business with. Not the same thing.
