Arrow Reputation System Turned On

Hello everyone,

The reputation system has been turned on. We'll see how it goes over the next couple of weeks. To add to or subtract from someone's reputation, just click the little star in the upper right-hand corner of their post:

(click the image above to enlarge)

Let me know if you notice something that doesn't seem right, or (and I'm hoping this never happens) if you get unfairly banned from the system.

I noticed that Wendy has over 3950 post but is still
shown to be fairly inactive? When does the label of
being new or inactive wear off?

The "fairly inactive" tag only shows up now because the reputation system is new. Once enough people use it we won't see these incongruities any more.

Are you saying that once enough people vote for "up or down"
on some people then they will get a new indicator at the
top right corner?

Also, I don't know if I like that idea that my post reveal
that I have "incongruities".

Are you allowed to say that in public?

I tried to vote for myself, but it did not work.

Oh well... so much for self promotion.

Wendy, will you please vote for me. It would help
me feel better about myself.

Yes, but I will probably fix the problem earier by changing the text used for people with minimal reputation.
