Get help Joey! Do you still have the address of the clinic that I referred you to in your area some time back? I hope so, because it took time out of my day just to find one that fits your needs. I hear the program can be completed in a month. I caution though it says it is in house which means you will not be able to do any inspections during this time. You may lose the one or two for the month you typically do. Have I told you lately, God still loves you!

I sucked it up and watched it. Yep, it quite aptly highlights the GOP's double standard. Karl Rove's spin on the numbers is politician doublespeak is classical.

BTW, are all of you Obamamites going to continue to ignoring all of the Obama/ DNC doublespeak?

What choice do they have Nick?

Their guy is a liar, looser and hypocrite many times over.

It's so easily proven that it's unnecessary to show them because they already know it.

They are reduce to silly attacks to make themselves feel better.

I am not "slandering" anyone.

Mike, do you feel "slandered"?

I pointed out that there are people who condone killing other people, yet refer to their world view as "Pro-Life".

They justify criminal executions because "the government sanctions it"...and oppose those other government sanctioned forms of killing because...well...they just do.

That is hypocritical.

Not by you Jim. I still consider you a friend. A confused friend but still a friend.

Can pro-lifers kill the enemies of our country while engaged in a war?

It is your view that lacks support of logic or scripture.

The sixth commandment(fifth for some) has not been repealed.
Simply put, capital punishment is not murder.

The Pope does not agree with you, nor do all Protestants. This may be your personal view (and I respect that) but it is not universally held among Christians or conservatives.

To them (us), the hypocrisy of those who pick and choose what life they personally consider to be sacred is impossible to relate to.

As to war...the Bible and our country makes that a matter of personal choice. One may declare an objection based on conscience (conscientious objector) and refuse to bear arms...or one may fight and kill in a war that is considered "just". No official "right or wrong" either way.

As one who chose to serve (with a son who made the same choice) I resent to hear the drunken shouts of the bear-slinging macho "powder puffs" who never served...but want to say what "we" should be doing in Iraq and what "we" should be doing in other places of the world. Those who choose to serve and have carried their share of the burden for what "we" have done for our country have earned the right to be called "we".

Those who choose otherwise should refrain from the use of that word, and say what "the U.S." should do in that regard.

To avoid military service...and proclaim what "we" should do regarding matters of war, is also hypocritical IMO.

Didn't say he did or that all protestants did. Some error on the side of life imprisonment without parole and I don't have much problem with that view.

To them (us), the hypocrisy of those who pick and choose what life they personally consider to be sacred is impossible to relate to.

We don't pick and chose. The appropriate authority under the law with all it's protections does. All human life is sacred including the life of the murder victim and because of that sacredness the ultimate sanction is appropriate.

A distinction with out difference Jim.

One could make the case that killing in war is wrong because of the possibility that innocents could be killed. but your not making that case.

What makes taking the life of an enemy combatant or innocent in war right and the taking the life of a murderer wrong?

Can a soldier who takes life in combat be pro-life by your reckoning or would he be a hypocrite?
