Luke 22:36 - Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him
take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his
garment, and buy one.

People are not hypocrites because they believe in protecting the life of a child and
at the same time defending themselves. Your hung up on a narrow view.

I am pro-life regarding a fetus, but I am pro-death regarding a convicted murderer.
One is innocent life the other is guilty of murdering the innocent. Big difference.

BTW... calling all pro-lifers hypocrites because they believe in self defense might
be exalting yourself a wee bit. Your hung up on semantics.

In its literal form "Pro-Life" is "For-life" (without exception). It's a matter of semantics more than anything.

Reflecting on what has been said here I have to question what pro-lifers who do not support the death penalty think about justice.

For those I ask this question:

What is a just punishment for someone who takes another's life in the act of murder?
